Roger Ashton-Griffiths will recur on Game of Thrones Season 4.

The veteran actor - who appeared on The Tudors in 2009 - has been cast on the HBO epic as Mace Tyrell, the father of Margaery and Loras Tyrell and the son of Olenna Tyrell. Look for him to stop by for multiple episodes when this drama returns in 2014.

HBO is yet to announce a premiere date for Game of Thrones Season 4, but two other casting tidbits have come out:

• Pedro Pascal will portray Prince Oberyn Martell; aka The Red Viper and the prince of Dorne.
• Indira Varma will play the Prince's girlfriend, Ellaria Sand.
