Tina Fey College-Based Sitcom Graduates to Fox

Tina Fey is headed to Fox.

The actress will executive produce a sitcom that has already been given the green light to go into series production for that network, as Fox outbid the competition to land a series that will be set at a women's college.

A women's college that has just opened its door to men for the first time, that is.

The untitled, multi-camera comedy will also be produced by Robert Carlock (who served as showrunner on 30 Rock) and producers Matt Hubbard and David Miner, who worked on that long-running NBC hit.

Fey's latest (she is not expected to star) is the latest show to skip the pilot process and go immediately into series, joining such recent programs as The Michael J. Fox Show and Hannibal on NBC; and Under the Dome on CBS. Look for it on the Fox schedule in 2014-2015.
