BBC America has released the first poster for its upcoming Doctor Who special, which will celebrate 50 years with this time-traveling hero and his companions.

The 75-minute episode will air on November 23 and be titled "The Day of the Doctor." It will feature David Tennant and Billie Piper in their first appearance on the series since departing in 2010, along with Jenna Coleman, John Hurt and, of course, Matt Smith.

“The Day of the Doctor is nearly here!" said Smith in a statement. "Hope you all enjoy. There’s lots more coming your way, as the countdown to the 50th begins now.”

Last month, the show announced that Peter Capaldi will take over for Smith after that actor exits following this year's Doctor Who Christmas special.
