Glee Sings the Beatles: Track List Revealed!

by at . Comments

The third episode of Glee Season 5 will feature a moving tribute to Cory Monteith.

Why not the September 26th opener? Because producers had already been hard at work on a double dose of The Beatles when Monteith tragically passed away of a drug overdose.

Indeed, the premiere will be titled "Love, Love, "Love" and will feature Will tasking New Directions with covering songs by this iconic group; while the second outing will be titled "Tina in the Sky with Diamonds" after Tina is nominated for Prom Queen.

The series will then release an album, "Glee Sings the Beatles," which will feature all the Glee music from the opening two episodes.

It hits stores on September 24 and its track list has now been released online:

  1. "Yesterday"
  2. "Drive My Car"
  3. "Got To Get You Into My Life"
  4. "You've Got To Hide Your Love Away"
  5. "Help"
  6. "A Hard Day's Night"
  7. "I Saw Her Standing There"
  8. "All You Need Is Love"
  9. "Get Back"
  10. "Here Comes The Sun"
  11. "Something"
  12. "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band"

In response to KThron, they did In My Life two years ago, in the season 3 finale, "Goodbye."

Sad they aren't doing my favorite Beatles song "In My Life", it would hav been an especially perfectly song to lead into the FInn/Cory tribute episode.

Glee Quotes

Beiste: Dr. Jones said the new end of world date is September 27, 2014
Brittany: That gives us like two whole years of giving love and brutal honesty to everyone we know.

Will: I hate to say it but I think as long as you keep being yourself, your life is probably going to be a constant string of 'don't belongs'.
Unique: I know. I should probably start getting used to it.
Will: No, no. You should never get used to it. All great changes come from people who refused to get used to what was accepted but wasn't right. Slavery, gay rights, New Coke.
