More Scandalous news out of ABC this week:

TV Fanatic favorite Jack Coleman has snagged a mysterious role on this explosive drama.

The veteran actor (Heroes, Castle, Burn Notice, The Vampire Diaries) will debut on Scandal Season 3 in October, though details regarding his role are top secret at this time. We can confirm he will appear on multiple episodes, however.

Coleman is the latest big name to be added to an already-impressive cast.

Lisa Kudrow will recur this fall as a politician, while former Private Practice doctor Paul Adelstein is also coming on board.

Scandal Season 3 kicks off on Thursday, October 3.
