James Frain is headed to Sleepy Hollow.
The veteran actor - who has appeared as quirky characters on hits such as Grimm, True Blood and The Tudors - has been cast in a recurring role on Fox's freshman drama.
According to TV Line, he'll come on board as Rutledge, described by network insiders as "a modern-day nobleman. Look for the character to interrogate Tom Mison's Ichabod Crane in an attempt to learn about his unusual past.
Sleepy Hollow got off to a huge start for Fox on Monday, earning the network's highest premiere ratings in seven years.
