Charles Michael Davis really is a very nice guy.

But Davis is anything but benevolent in the following clip from this drama's series premiere, which airs on October 3 and which will find his character of Marcel feuding big time with the witches in New Orleans, specifically Daniella Pineda's Sophie.

The Originals, a spinoff of The Vampire Diaries, kicks off on Thursday, October 3 at 9/8c before moving to its regular time slot on Tuesday nights.
