TV Ratings Report: Survivor Leads the Way
Matt Richenthal at .It's a battle of Blood vs. Water, CBS came out on top last night.
The premiere of Survivor garnered 9.5 million total viewers, nearly two million fewer than the Philippines, but up from February's Caramoan. The competition also led the night among 18-49-year olds.
Elsewhere:
- The Big Brother finale fell 9 percent in the young adults demographer (a 2.4 rating) from last summer's concluding episode.
- The X Factor was on par with last week's premiere in terms of young adults and up a tad overall (6.6 million).
- America’s Got Talent crowned a winner and increased by 7 percent in overall households from a year ago.
