NBC Places Parks and Recreation on Mini Hiatus

The campaign to reelect Leslie Knope is on hold.

NBC announced today that it has placed Parks and Recreation on a mini hiatus, bumping the subsequent three episodes of the sitcom for an extended episode of The Voice, a Halloween-themed Saturday Night Live special and another live edition of The Voice, respectively.

Parks and Recreation will then return on November 14 - with the second episode to feature Tatiana Maslany of Orphan Black fame - and November 21… before going off the air for good in 2013 and coming back in January.
