Caroline Forbes, you are a very forgiving woman.
Despite the absence for many months of Tyler, and despite the fact that he scarcely even called his girlfriend during his time away, Caroline opens up her heart - and definitely opens up her bed - to the returning werewolf on this Thursday's Vampire Diaries Season Episode 5, "Monster's Ball."
We're not sure if we're buying Tyler's excuse for his disappearance (haven't we seen cell phones work on TVD in dungeons and in caves?) but it is nice to have the guy back.
He doesn't seem so happy about it, though, after hearing what Caroline has in store for him in this sneak peek. Watch below:
