The year is 2048 on Almost Human.
Regular police off are teamed with an android partner, a fact that doesn't sit well with Karl Urban's Jon Kennex after he and his unit were ambushed two years earlier.
He's now back after an injury-prompted absence... and not exactly happy to meet Dorian.
