Well, sleepovers certainly didn't look like THAT when I was younger. I was more of the J. Humphrey variety... except my sleeping bag was American Girl and fleece.
That's right, it was time for the Blair Waldorf annual sleepover in Gossip Girl Season 1 episode 5!
Too bad Serena couldn't make it now that she and B were on good terms. Then again, she has bailed on Dan so many times that she was in a hard position.
One of my favorite quotes, not only on Gossip Girl but in life, was uttered by Blair when Serena said she'd stop by.
I'm not a stop along the way. I'm a destination. And if you refuse to come, I'm gonna need to find a replacement... girls, the waiting list?

When Serena promised Dan "no drama, no interruptions" in Gossip Girl Season 1 episode 4 she was automatically jinxing it! Poor Dan hocked that huge bag of change just to take her to a stuffy restaurant. Didn't he already get the hint by then that Serena wasn't your typically snooty rich girl? She may have been born into that world, but she craves adventure.
Any guy probably would've been mortified if the girl secretly paid for the check behind his back because she thought he couldn't afford it. Dan handled it pretty well. She said I'm sure you can pay for it but let's be real, why spend it at this stuffy ass place? I'm glad she and Dan finally ended up having a great date. Love the pool scenes.
There was that little interruption with Jenny and Eric at the club. Jenny really brought her A game to this episode. Blair actually did a good deed busting Eric out of rehab. This was one of the first episodes of Gossip Girl that I truly loved. It was filmed at a real club in Manhattan, it had some romance, some adventure, some drama, and some laughs.
Blair was awesome when she was schooling the skeevy ass Wall Street guys at Visconti aka Marquee. This episode was the first time we saw Blair actually let loose and have fun. I love when Blair's dark side comes out.
