NCIS Sneak Peek: Meet the New Girl!

at . Comments

Next week marks the start of a new chapter on NCIS, as Emily Wickersham joins the cast. She's not Cote de Pablo's replacement, per se, but she is her successor.

Comparisons will be made because she's occupying a series regular spot that became available when Ziva was written off the show on NCIS Season 11 Episode 2.

Her character, Eleanor "Ellie" Bishop, will the be judged by the very high standards of the audience, but NCIS' producers clearly like what she brings to the table.

Next Tuesday, after discovering the Secretary of the Navy was bugged during a confidential briefing, NSA Analyst Bishop partners with the NCIS team.

It turns out she predicted the security breach in exact detail two years ago, and inevitably her expertise in the field lands her a full-time gig under Gibbs.

new kid on the block, she's definately a cutie. did well on tues evening/nov. 19, 2013 episode. i think she'll do ok. not ziva but i think she'll hold her own./

She is no Ziva or Kate. I was so bored with her first episode, I turned it off after 30 minutes. Did you notice they tried to give her Ziva eyebrows. Not very subtle. She is strictly second or third sting. NCIS producers not to continue their search

I am sick of this site. Lauren can post that I don't know how to read, can't spell and have terrible grammar and say that I hate NCIS, but when I write a reasonable response, I get held for review!

@ Guest

give the kid a chance.

@ Guest

If you hate this site, then why do you post on it?

I read in an online interview done with Michael Weatherly that Cote's life was pretty much doing the show and that was it. She didn't have anything else to do, her family or otherwise. Looking at that, it looks more like she needed a break from the show.

I love how the Ziva fanbase think a petition will make Cote come back its so sad its funny

Cote WANTED to leave. They paid a large amount of cash to convince her to stay and she still CHOSE to leave NCIS for personal reasons, reasons she you and every so called 'fan' refuse to accept, whatever the reasons wanted out. You and everyone else who still whine about it just need a piss poor excuse to vent your frustration. So you decide to blame Cote or the new actress, or Gary or CBS studios or all four to justify you hate. So sack up and deal with it Cote's not coming back unless she wants to and until you get that don't have the nerve to call yourselves NCIS fans or even Cote or Ziva fans.

@ Jesse

I'm sorry, but who exactly are your directing this at?

Keep it up Irishelf. Michael is just Michael. He has dished dirt on Cote de Pablo's Character Ziva across sites for the eighteen months I have been surfing NCIS. Note I said the word Character.

@ Jean

No, he also says rude and mean things about Cote. He has referred to her as selfish, being a pig, being a horrible actress...the list goes on. That's the type of behavior we have a problem with!

Who cares! We don't want a replacement for Ziva-we want Ziva. This is just another reason NOT to watch NCIS. And apparently I am not alone in this sentiment-the number of people who have signed the petition to get Cote back has been increasing since this announcement was made!

I love this season they have really done a great job so far didn't like the one with gibbs dad but that okay

Why do Janet Guest and all these people hate NCIS so much all they care about Ziva I never see them say anything nice about anyone else its always Ziva Ziva Ziva. what worse is their spelling grammar sucks not to mention they have no idea how to read

NCIS Season 11 Episode 9 Quotes

Bishop: It doesn't make any sense.
Tony: What now, Russell Crowe? Hasn't your beautiful mind gotten you in enough trouble today?

Gibbs: You forgot something.
Bishop: Ahh, that's not mine.
Gibbs: It's got your name on it.
Bishop: This is my NCIS application from years ago. Before I took the job at NSA. How did you know about this?
Gibbs: Your name sounded familiar. I went back and looked it up.
Bishop: That's why you took me along today. You play chess too.
Gibbs: I wanted to see if you're still up for a challenge.
Bishop: Why?
Gibbs: I'd like to keep you around. Joint duty assignment.
