It could have been easy to mix up Reign for Game of Thrones this week.
There was death. There was darkness. There were gruesome murders. Okay, no, there wasn't any incest.
But Reign Season 1 Episode 6 continued to propel this surprise hit forward, as Queen Catherine stepped into the forefront of the storytelling, with Mary taking a backseat - and it was a pleasure to watch this mixture of Maleficent and Joan Collins and do her evil thing.
Does the series remind anyone else of Gossip Girl? Managing to take its characters both seriously and NOT seriously at the same time? While providing a whole lot of unusually fun fashion to talk about as well, of course.
