It sounds like Katherine Pierce is about to get herself involved in a very hairy situation.

Prior to the beginning of The Vampire Diaries Season 5, sources teased that a main character would undergo a "reverse Benjamin Button," aging at an unusual pace and seemingly offering up quite a challenge for the show's makeup department.

Combine that scoop with TV Guide now reporting that Katherine having her blood drained at the conclusion of The Vampire Diaries Season 5 Episode 5 will have major "consequences" for the doppleganger.

How so?

"Once she's finally back to her sassy self again," the article states, "it won't be long before she realizes that there's a major side effect - which will begin, or should we say fall out? - this week."

That doesn't sound like fun at all, Katherine. You best order some Depends.

Elsewhere on The Vampire Diaries Season 5 Episode 6, look for Silas' plans of dying and exchanging his life for Bonnie's to be met with an "unexpected hiccup." But, come on... did anyone really think this would go smoothly?
