Daniel Cosgrove is making a move across the daytime dial once again.

The soap opera veteran (Bill on Guiding Light; Chris on As the World Turns; Scott on All My Children) has been cast in the role of Aiden on Days of Our Lives.

“This is the first time that I’ve ever played a daytime character that wasn’t played by someone else,” Cosgrove, who will debut next month, tells Soap Opera Digest.

The actor started taping scenes in September and says cast members are "so beautiful [and] so damn talented that it’s a little intimidating."

Cosgrove most recently stopped by CBS' Person of Interest, playing Jeremy Watkins on the installment "Reasonable Doubt."
