Sherlock Holmes is about to be visited by an old friend/enemy/lover.

In the first CBS trailer for Elementary Season 2 Episode 12, we see that Jamie Moriarty (Natalie Dormer) is back on the scene. She's ben brought on to consult with the NYPD on a kidnapping case and her return is throwing Sherlock for all kinds of loops.

Does he still have feelings for this foe? Watson believe so.

But "love is a game I fail to understand," Holmes claims to conclude the trailer.
