Kevin Zegers is the latest big name to join Fox's Broadchurch remake.

The actor, best known for recurring as Damian Daalgard for years on Gossip Girl, will come on board Gracepoint - the network's upcoming take on a beloved British mystery drama - as a local reporter named Own Burke.

The character is described as laid back, clever and not exactly rich, someone from the town of Gracepoint whose ambitions are awakened when a high-profile murder takes place and brings a big city journalist to the area.

Gracepoint will air on Fox in 2014-2015 and other cast members announced so far include:

• David Tennant (who also anchored Broadchurch
• Anna Gunn (Breaking Bad)
• Jacki Weaver (Silver Linings Playbook)
