Leighton Meester to Make Broadway Debut

Leighton Meester is headed back to New York.

But she won't be living on the Upper East Side this time around.

The  beloved ex-Gossip Girl star will make her Broadway debut this spring in a production of Of Mice and Men, starring in a version of the iconic 1973 novel as Curley's flirtatious wife.

Meester will appear on stage opposite two more big names, both of whom will also be making their first-ever foray on to Broadway: James Franco and Chris O'Dowd.

The actor will play twins George and Lennie, respectively, with the latter character getting close to Meester's character as the story unfolds.

Tickets go on sale January 11, while the play kicks off April 16 and runs through July 27.
