A senator's daughter was attacked on NCIS: Los Angeles Season 3 Episode 12, while there was also an ambush, a car explosion and many gun fights.
Not exactly the merriest of Christmas episodes, huh?
But this CBS drama did wrap up 2013 with an action-filled hour. It involved a discovery of why the aforementioned politician's child was taken and some attackers who were seriously determined, even in the face of Sam's flare-and-gas-tank-based bombs.
We also witnessed Sam and Callen running out of ammo, an unusual event on the series, along with a very sweet gift from Hetty to Kensi and Deeks.
