Ryan Carnes to Bring Lucas Jones Back to General Hospital

at .

A familiar face is on his way back to General Hospital.

Executive Producer Frank Valentini confirms to Soaps in Depth that Ryan Carnes will reprise the role of Lucas Jones in the near future, returning to the drama on which he was last seen in 2005.

"I got to meet him the other day," Valentini said of Carnes. "I like him a lot."

It's unknown at this time when Carnes will debut, but bringing Bobbie Spencer’s adoptive son back to Port Charles will allow him to reunite with sister Carly and to also meet Sam, the sister he didn't know he had.

Since departing the soap opera, Ryan Carnes has guest-starred on NCIS and Saving Grace and also recurred on Desperate Housewives.

Earlier this week, it was announced that Grey's Anatomy star Chandra Wilson will check in for a January episode of General Hospital.

General Hospital Quotes

Claudia: Oh, you're in a foul mood, huh? Looking for trouble?

Lucky, it's called cleavage, and it's the best weapon we've got.
