Bones: Renewed for Season 10, Marching Back to Mondays
Matt Richenthal at .We have double the good news for you, Bones Fanatics.
First, and more urgently, the seris has been officially picked up for a 10th season.
"Over the course of nine seasons, Bones has grown from a hit crime procedural into a beloved pillar of our lineup that resonates with fans in a way that only the best of shows can," Fox president Kevin Reilly said in a statement, adding:
"Our viewers have embraced Emily, David and the entire cast and characters of Bones as their very own, and I think they are going to love what Hart Hanson and Stephen Nathan have planned for Season 10!"
Reilly hinted at this news just this month at the 2014 Winter TCA Press Tour.
In the more immediate future, meanwhile, Bones Season 9 will soon be on the move again.
On March 10, the series will return to its old timeslot: Mondays at 8 p.m. (Kitchen Nightmares will take over Bones' current timeslot, Fridays at 8 p.m., on February 28.)
"10 is it," David Boreanaz Tweeted. "Bring the magic and bring the love for @BONESonFOX . #Back"
That's a lot to digest, but it's all positive. And remember: you can watch Bones online at any time in order to catch up.
