As previously reported, Michiel Huisman will come on board Game of Thrones Season 4 as Daario, taking over the role from Ed Skrein.

But in a surprising casting announcement - the kind only a show with this sort of fan base can make - HBO has now confirmed that Huisman has been promoted to series regular.

For Game of Thrones Season 5.

This presumes, of course, that there actually will be a Game of Thrones Season 5. But come on.

The actor (Treme, Nashville, Orphan Black Season 2) will recur on the upcoming fourth season, which will premiere in either March or early April.
