Loved the ending with Gibbs and McGee it was so poignant. One compliant I have with the Bishop character is that when she goes to a crime scene she doesn't pull her back in a ponytail or bun like Ziva and Kate used to. I always thought that it was a realistic aspect so that the crime scene wouldn't be contaminated. Can't believe we have to wait two weeks for a new episode when we've only had two new episodes this year. Darn February sweeps!

Sometimes you think Gibbs is a robot who seems almost incapable of human feeling, but then the writers redeem him with scenes like the one that ended last night's episode. It was very Gibbs-ish, given that it didn't take place in his basement. He's not a wordy guy, but just being there means he was able to take his own advice -- that the team members are bigger than the job, not the other way around. Almost wish it was Tony in that scene, but I can understand why it wasn't. Tony is the guy who ultimately still struggles with knowing what to do ... but Gibbs is the guy, when push comes to shove, who is there no matter what. Really nice scene. I thought Sean Murphy was spectacular as well.

My question is... Where was Sofia Martinez sitting when she was in a teleconference with Tony and Bishop?? It looks like the lobby of NSA...Nobody has a secure VTC in a lobby of a building...not even NSA.

@ D Dub

She was in the room of the NSA building where Tony first met her.

Okay, I really do hate story arcs and "TBC"... but this was a heartbreaker. I actually wanted to cry when Dr. Rachel told Bishop that her desk "was special"...a really wonderful moment. Tony caring so much about Tim, Gibbs willingness to tell him that he was more important then the job, and finally the end image of Gibbs sitting with Tim... A top ten episode!

These story arcs featuring high-profile killers are getting longer and longer. Next week's ep is a repeat, which means CBS we're probably in for a few more eps before the climax...in time for Feb sweeps. #TiredOldTrope

Cue Delilah getting written completely outta the show. Finally something to turn up the Abby-Tim dynamic, and already ruined.

One thing I really like that we've seen for the second time now is how Gibbs reacts during a tragedy involving a team member. What I mean by that is when Vance's wife was in the hospital, Gibbs stood outside the door like a military guard until he heard from Leon. Tonight, when Magee asked him to sit with him, did you notice how Gibbs was sitting? Straight up and no slouching whatsoever. Once a Marine, always a Marine.
