On Rake, we met Keegan Deane, a criminal defense attorney whose personal problems have resulted in a self-destructive lifestyle that leaves his battling with his ex-wife, his colleagues, his bookie and the IRS.

Okay, so he isn't exactly like Gregory House. But he's a cantankerous fellow with questionable morals who is very good at his job. The similarities are certainly there.
