Veronica Mars thought she was out. She really did.

But in the first Veronica Mars movie trailer, we learned what will bring this ex-detective back to Neptune in the wildly anticipated big screen version of the beloved series.

And now we have our first look at the official poster, which features Kristen Bell's title character and the tag line "She thought she was out," a reference to the fact that Veronica has become an attorney and moved away since we last saw her.

But a call from Logan in the film will change her plans. For the good? Maybe. For the dangerous? Probably. For the very entertaining? No doubt.

The poster also features snap shots of Jason Dohring as Logan Echolls, Ryan Hansen as Dick Casablancas, Enrico Colantoni as Keith Mars, Tina Majorino as Mac, Chris Lowell as Piz, Percy Daggs III as Wallace Fennel, Krysten Ritter as Gia Goodman and Francis Capra as Weevil.

The Veronica Mars movie opens on March 14.
