Here is the bad news: Hart of Dixie Season 3 is on hiatus until March 21, when it will return in its new Friday timeslot.

But here's some good news: Barry Watson is set to heat up Bluebell this spring!

E! News confirms that the former 7th Heaven star, who recurred on Gossip Girl as Steven Spence, will appear on multiple Hart of Dixie episodes this spring

He will portray a southern gentleman named Davis Polk, someone described as quick-witted and handsome and someone who will set his romantic sights on… "one of the show's most desired sweethearts."

Let the guessing games begin!

Watson will premiere in April.
