iZombie, a supernatural CW pilot from Veronica Mars creator, has named its first series stars.
Network sources confirm that Malcolm Goodwin (Breakout Kings) will portray a police detective on the show, one of the co-leads who works with a medical student in order to solve homicide cases that help the student quiet disturbing voices in her head.
Did we mention that the medical student is is also a zombie?
Alexandra Krosney (Last Man Standing) will play the student's best friend and roommate, who is confused by her pal's new behavior; while David Anders is on board as Blaine, a drug kingpin and the drama's main villain.
Anders, of course, is a VERY familiar face to anyone with a television.
He has appeared on Alias, Heroes, The Vampire Diaries and Once Upon a Time.
If picked up, iZombie would likely be included on The CW's 2014-2015 schedule.
