With House of Cards Season 2 set to be released in full on February 14, Netflix made a rather early announcement today:

The drama has already been renewed for Season 3!

House of Cards became the first Netflix series to receive an Emmy nomination last year, and then it won Best New Drama at this year’s Writers Guild Awards.

It was also picked up for Season 2 before Season 1 ever hit the air.
