Michael Robinson is going from the football field to the drama of daytime.
A fullback on the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks, Robinson recently said during an NFL Total Access interview that he loves "watching the stories" on The Young and the Restless.
Fast forward a few weeks after producers heard of this sound bit and - boom! - Robinson was making his acting debut. Opposite iconic star Eric Braeden, no less.
“It was an amazing experience! I’ve been a fan for years, and it was great to meet the personalities on the show,” Robinson says of his time on set. “I’ve always thought Y&R was the best show on daytime television because their storylines are always entertaining and intriguing. They welcomed me with open arms, and I felt like a part of the Y&R family.”
Robinson's episode will air on March 13.
About a month later, many other familiar faces will show up for a Young and the Restless fashion show.
