Trophy Wife has a couple fun episodes planned.
The underrated ABC comedy (seriously, it's hilarious) will parody Scandal later this season, producers told reporters yesterday.
"We have an episode coming up that becomes a Scandal parody," teased co-creator and executive producer Emily Halper. "Diane has a bit of a failure, which as we know is very unlike her, and she winds up sort of binge-watching a lot of Scandal episodes and channels her Olivia Pope."
The installment will air in April and feature Diane enlisting the assistance of Kate in "taking down the conspiracy in the PTA," executive producer Lee Eisenberg added, joking that it's "very high stakes."
Trophy Wife will also welcome Chris Harrison on March 4, with The Bachelor host portraying himself… for reasons unknown at this time.
Trophy Wife airs Tuesdays at 9:30/8:30c on ABC.
