Does The CW have a new hit on its hands?

The network premiered Star-Crossed last night, its alien-based take on Romeo and Juliet. How did it fare?

The drama brought in only half the audience that watched The Tomorrow People opener back in October, but it did increase 25 percent among young adults from the most recent episode of Hart of Dixie.

That may say more about the latter show than about Star-Crossed, however...
