Gotham Sort of Casts Batman and Catwoman!

by at . Comments

Batman and Catwoman are headed to the small screen.

Sort of.

The intriguing new Fox series - which will chronicle the adventures of Detective Jams Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and a handful of future villains - has cast the key roles of Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle.

David Mazouz on Touch

David Mazouz - above, best known for portraying the mysterious boy at the center of Touch - will come on board as Wayne, an orphaned child under the care of Sean Pertwee's Alfred Pennyworth.

Newcomer Camren Bicondova, meanwhile, will play Kyle, who grows up to be Catwoman and who we meet a teenage orphan and pickpocket. She is described as potentially "dangerous" and "wholly unpredictable."

Gotham has already received a series order from Fox and will likely be included on its fall schedule.
