The Face Season 2 Premiere: Did Change Do It Good?

at .

The Face is off and running modeling.

Season 2 of this Oxygen competition kicked off last night with two new judges (Anne V and Lydia Hearst), new contestants and, of course, new drama.

Host Nigel Barker welcomed everyone to The Face Season 2 Episode 1, which started out with a bang. Or, rather with what women were before they start to bang:

They stripped down to their underwear right in New York's Bryant Park.

Naturally, this led to an immediate argument, as Anne and Naomi Campbell got into it over Russian hopeful Kira Dikhtya. She ended up on Team Naomi and tension ended up permeating the relationship between Naomi and Anne going forward.

For the opening battle, the team were tasked with creating a window ad in which the model had to hold a pose for 60 seconds.

Many had trouble channeling the Juicy Couture theme of "Girls Night Out," though Naomi's squad pulled it out in the end for its selfie-like pose. Ellen DeGeneres would have been proud.

Team Lydia and Team Anne then had to head to the elimination round, with the former choosing its most inexperienced model (Ray Clanton) for the hot seat and Anne going in the opposite direction: she selected Isabelle Bianchi...

... who as promptly sent home by Naomi, clearly a victim of Naomi's feud with her mentor.

What did you think of the premiere? Should Isabelle have been voted off?  Will Anne and Naomi ever get along? And who will win a spread in Elle and a contract to represent Frederic Fekkai?!?
