Cory Michael Smith Cast as The Riddler on Gotham

Cory Michael Smith is on his way to Gotham.
The actor (Olive Kitteridge, Carol, Camp X-Ray) has been cast on the wildly anticipated Fox drama as Edward Nygma, the young man who will go on to become The Riddler.
The character is a brilliant, eccentric forensic scientist who works for Gotham PD and has a penchant for speaking in rather cryptic language.
Smith, meanwhile, joins a cast that includes Ben McKenzie (Jim Gordon), Donal Logue (Harvey Bullock), Jada Pinkett Smith (gangster Fish Mooney), Sean Pertwee (Alfred Pennyworth) and Robin Lord Taylor (The Penguin) in a drama that will delve into the background of beloved characters from the DC universe.
It is expected to air on Fox this fall.
