Dancing with the Stars gave viewers their first real shock of Season 18 last night
Following the withdrawal of Billy Dee Williams and last week's partner switch-up, the show had been lacking a bit of drama.
But that changed on Monday's Disney-themed installment, first thanks to Amy Purdy’s wonderful waltz and Meryl Davis’ sensational samba was sensational (Len, of course, referred to it as a whamba of a samba.")
Danica McKellar also knocked her quickstep “out of the park, according to guest judge Donny Osmond, while Charlie White put umbrellas to good use with a jazz routine to “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.”
But the real tension arrived during elimination time.
Cody, NeNe and Candace were in the Bottom 3; and after NeNe was deemed safe, viewers were left in shock when it was announced... CODY SIMPSON is heading home.
“This has been a very new experience, an amazing experience, so it’s tough, but it is what it is,” said a shocked Cody, as a teary Witney referred to dancing with Simpsons as “an incredible experience” and that she hopes they stay close after the show.
What do you think, TV Fanatics? Did viewers eliminate the right contestant?
