Game of Thrones Sets All-Time Ratings Record

A record number of viewers now know who killed King Joffrey.

HBO reports that 6.9 million total viewers tuned in for the original airing of Game of Thrones Season 4 Episode 4, an outing that revealed who was behind Joffrey's poisoning, as well as what the Walkers do with male babies.

Counting a pair of replays, the epic drama amassed 8.4 million viewers for the evening. 

That means A LOT of people saw Margaery begin to seduce a 12-year old.

Elsewhere on Sunday night HBO:

  • Silicon Valley garnered 1.6 million viewers.
  • Veep earned 922,000.
  • Last Week Tonight With John Oliver debuted 1.1 million.
