NCIS Sneak Preview: Conspiring to Cleanse

by at .  Updated at . Comments

On NCIS Season 11 Episode 21, a Naval officer will be found dead on a rural road, causing the team to determine:

  • Was this just a bar brawl gone wrong?
  • Or was the the victim killed because he knew too much about a fellow female officer's attack?

To make things more interesting, DiNozzo and McGee decide to do a juice cleanse together in the hopes of becoming more healthy. Will they be able to solve the case while cleansing?

Check out these photos from "Alleged," airing Tuesday, April 15 on CBS.

Conflicting Cases
The NCIS team must determine if a Naval officer was murdered because of his involvement with another case or if it was nothing more than a bar brawl gone wrong.

The writers have been working hard to make sure that Tony is NEVER as heroic, cool, or smart, as he was on a regular basis in the first four seasons. I think they're afraid Tony's popularity might eclipse that of Gibbs if they allow him to be competent more than a few times a year. And he can NEVER under any circumstances be the hero. That has become the exclusive domain of super Gibbs. Don't want to confuse the viewers as to who the most noble and heroic male agent is now do we?

Yes this sounds like yet another super GIbbs defender of the down trodden with a side of the female agent relating to the female victim (same formula they used with ZIva). Tony and Tim will be there to provide comic diversion while GIbbs is as usual portrayed as the hero. Since the writers seem to love McGee this season, and certainly never care if they demean and diminish Tony, I'm going to predict that Tony will come out looking for more stupid than McGee in this.

I hope they do this right this happen to a female friend of my in the air force and So nice to see Tony as what he always was a work smarter not harder agent now that he no longer the comic relief

Seriously? With such a dramatic and serious issue they have to add a juice cleanse? And as usual Gibbs will do the heavy lifting and Tony will be there for comic relief, this time taking McGee along. Bring back smart-cop Tony, please.

@ Mel

As someone commented on another site, this season the writers have us laughing at Tony rather than with him.
