Charlie Cox Cast as Daredevil on Netflix

Charlie Cox is headed to Netflix.

The actor, most recently see as Owen Slater on HBO’s Boardwalk Empire (below), has been cast in the title role of Daredevil.

The series already has a 13-episode order and it marks the first of four Marvel-based drama from Netflix; Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones are all on tap as well.

Ben Affleck played this blind superhero in a 2003 movie that it’s best to not discuss in any more detail.

No word yet on when Netflix will release Daredevil, but look for the series some time next year.
