Days of Our Lives Recap: The Not-So-Innocent Victim

at .

Sami continued her quest for revenge on this week's Days of Our Lives as she spread the news that Abigail and EJ had had an affair and the reactions from Salemites ranged from predictable to annoying.

Being Abigail's mother, there was little doubt that Jennifer would side with her daughter and make EJ out to be the villain. She called him a predator and a sociopathc. Lucas, who hates EJ with a passion was more than willing to side with Abby and Aunt Adrienne immediately assumed that EJ was have forced himself upon her or completely manipulated poor, innocent Abigail.

Speaking of Adrienne, wasn't it just last week that she was spouting something about Sami being family and having to be there for her? That certainly didn't last long. The moment Adrienne heard that Sami had confronted Abigail in front of her mom, Sami was instantly the villain once again.

Even Will worried about his cousin and accused EJ of taking advantage of the grieving girl.

Doesn't anyone in Salem recall how Abigail lied through her teeth for weeks in order to break up Carrie and Austin? You'd think Jennifer would be making an appointment with Marlena so her daughter could figure out why she's succumbed to a pattern of pursing men who are already in committed relationships?

When EJ found out that Sami had gone to Jennifer, she explained why in this Days of Our Lives quote

She thinks that little Abby is a saint so I had to set her straight and make sure she knows her daughter is a home wrecking whore.

Sami

Her language may have been harsh but given the facts she's not entirely off the mark. I don't know about you but I'm really tired of hearing the residents of Salem jump to Abigail's defense.

Even EJ appeared concerned about Abigail, a feeling she obviously doesn't return. His chivalry also won't win him any points with Sami if he really plans to try and win her back.

Will stormed off to the jail to give EJ a piece of his mind, then came home to find out his new job as to write a cover article for a magazine…about Sami and EJ.

I suspect that Will will spend many scenes worrying over this decision but the answer should be simple. It's no! You don't use a scandal about your own mother and step-father to get ahead in your career. It's just sleazy.

Elsewhere in Salem, little Miss Devereux took all of her anger and frustration out on Eve by completely losing control and making a public scene. I loved it when Eve called her out on her behavior by telling her…

You're as judgmental as your mother but with no self control.

Eve

Eve, being no saint herself, definitely taunted the girl until she snapped. Abby's lucky her brother came along when he did or I have little doubt Eve would have had Abigail hauled off on assault charges.  And when exactly did JJ become the grown up in the family?

Finally, we get to Theresa and Brady. Oh Theresa. I actually had high hopes we would find a heart hidden under all of that snark but that doesn't appear to be the case. Not only may she have killed John in a fit of panic and anger, but it's possible she may let Brady take the fall for the attack and grab his money while he's being hauled off to prison.

It almost makes me wish that Kristen would return just to show Theresa what a real Salem witch can do.

Once again Sami had many, but not all of the best lines in Salem. Which was your favorite?
