Mike Birbiglia is going from the stage to the slammer.

The (hilarious!) stand-up comedian has landed a role on Orange is the New Black Season 3, according to The Hollywood Reporter, although further details are being kept under wraps at the moment.

Birbiglia is a male, however, meaning he'll likely portray a prison guard or a love interest for an inmate.

The rising star recently had a role in The Fault in Our Stars and will next be seen in a new big screen version of Annie.

Orange is the New Black Season 3 will be released some time in 2015 and also feature new faces Blair Brown and Mary Steenburgen in key roles.
