A 15-year old arson case had Rick Sullivan behind bars for killing his wife and child. With only six months left to live, he asked Vince Korsak to reopen the case in order to prove to his son he was innocent on Rizzoli & Isles Season 5 Episode 10.

Korsak pulled in Maura and Frankie to help...but not Jane who was still not cleared to return to work. Miserable while stuck on Maura's sofa, Jane managed to steal some of the case files and helped despite being told she wasn't allowed. 

Little did Jane know as she waited for the letter allowing her to go back to work, that Angela had been hiding it for two days. She'll always hate the fact that her daughter loves a job that constantly puts her in danger.
