Syfy delivered a double dose of good news to viewers today.

Both Defiance and Dominion have been renewed for new seasons.

Defiance opened Season 2 with two million total viewers and a 0.6 rating among 18-49-year olds, thought it did  fall 1.5 mil/0.4 by the finale.

Dominion, meanwhile, debuted in June to 2 mil/0.6, respectively, also hitting 1.5 mil/0.5 for its August 8 finale.

Look for new episodes of the two dramas to air in 2015. Both new seasons will be comprised of 13 episodes.
