Saving Hope Season 3 to Air on ION in America
Matt Richenthal at .ION Television has saved Saving Hope.
Sources confirm that the network has reached an agreement with Entertainment One Television to air the upcoming 18-episode third season of this Canadian-produced drama, which stars Erica Durance and TV Fanatic fan Daniel Gillies (The Originals).
Saving Hope Season 3 kicks off September 22 on Canada’s CTV.
It's unknown right now when it will air Stateside.
Saving Hope is set at Hope Zion Hospital. It follows Durance's surgeon, whose fiancé/Chief of Surgery formerly narrated the series from a comatose state and is now awake, seeing various apparitions.
The cast also includes Huse Madhavji, Julia Taylor Ross and Kristopher Turner.
NBC broadcast Saving Hope’s first season during the summer of 2012 and then chose not to pick up Season 2.
ION, meanwhile, has played host to Canadian offerings in the past such as Flashpoint, The Listener and Rookie Blue reruns.
