The first extended, official, what-the-heck-is-going-on-and-when-will-it-be-October-2 trailer for The Vampire Diaries Season 6.
Following a brief promo for new installments - which teased an angry and grieving Elena - the following footage depicts Elena in full breakdown mode, desperate to see Damon again, along with confirmation that Mystic Falls is now "humans only" and Stefan finding comfort in the arms of a mystery woman.
Tell me something I don't know about you, she says. I'm a vampire, Stefan replies.

The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Episode 1, titled "I'll Remember," airs on Thursday, October 2 at 8/7.
