Can it get any worse for Detective Jim Gordon?

On Gotham Season 1 Episode 5, Oswald Cobblepot revealed his true identity to Maroni. In doing so, of course, he outed Gordon as a liar and provided the mobster with a lot of leverage of the city's best-intentioned police officer.

According to the official Fox synopsis, Gordon will be "forced to deal with the consequences of his past decisions" on next Monday's new installment, which will be titled "Spirit of the Goat."

Elsewhere on Gotham Season 1 Episode 6, Gordon and Harvey Bullock will go after a killer who targets Gotham elite's firstborn. Look for this case to bring back up some painful memories for Bullock, while Dan Hedaya guest stars as Detective Dix.

Carol Kane will also her her second appearance as the creepy Gertrud Cobblepot.
