Viewers will be spending a lot more time in Manhattan next year.

WGN announced today that the series, which takes us back to the days of the Atomic Bomb experiments, will return for a second season on 2015.

The July premiere of Manhattan Season 1 earned 900,000 total viewers, with 233,000 of those landing in the key advertising demographic of 18-49-year olds.

The series, which has received strong critical praise, has enjoyed a loyal fan base throughout its opening season run, which comes to an end this Sunday at 10/9c.
