Gibbs and company welcomed former NFL All-Pro Tony Gonzalez to NCIS Season 12 Episode 2, as he stopped by an installment titled "Kill the Messenger."
It centers around the murder of a Navy Lieutenant who was killed on his way to a private meeting with the President. So you can imagine how this became a very big deal in a very short period of time.
As a result, the NCIS squad had to determine whether to the murder was part of a recent stream of muggings in the area or a specific, targeted hit to keep certain information secret.
