When last we saw Olivia Pope, she was waiting for Jake Ballard to show up for dinner. He's not returning her calls and she has a sinking feeling about it. Her gut tells her he's in trouble.

While pouring a (no doubt) expensive glass of wine, Rowan Pope, that sneaky snake of a father, tries to comfort her with talk about how he was, once upon a time, a "tiger" who needed to "roam," insinuating Jake is on the prowl for other women to woo.

Rowan's attempt to calm Olivia's gut is a smokescreen designed to turn her away from his trail because Olivia's gut is never wrong.

Does this moment between Rowan and Olivia feel eerily wrong to anyone else or is it just me?

Their father-daughter bonding over wine and attempts to seem like a normal family is the calm before the storm that sure to come when Olivia realizes Jake is missing and probably in danger. This is going to be one explosive episode you don't want to miss.
