With viewers having proved interested in solving The Mysteries of Laura, NBC announced a full season order for this Debra Messing-anchored drama today.

The drama, which averaged 10.4 million viewers per week and a 1.8 rating among 18-49-year olds, will now film nine additional episodes, bringing its opening season total to 22.

The Mysteries of Laura is the first NBC show to receive this positive news.

Across the dial... Fox ordered a full season of Gotham; CBS did the same for Madam Secretary, NCIS: New Orleans, Scorpion and Stalker; ABC for How to Get Away With Murder and black-ish; and The CW for The Flash and Jane the Virgin.
